Grand Canyon Rattlesnake
Description
A reddish,vermillion, salmon or pink colored snake. Most adults will have a lightly colored blotch saddle pattern which are very uniform.
Size
The Grand Canyon Rattlesnake is a medium sized snake. They can reach lengths of 2-3 feet and occasionally reach a length of 3.5 feet.
Prey
Grand Canyon's are a generalist feeder. Neonates will prey on lizards and small rodents. As adults they will prey upon small rabbits, squirrels, quail, dove, thrashers, frogs and toads.
